How to get to our Casal ?

By car:

By car you can travel through France or through Germany passing Basel and the Gotthard tunnel then via Milan to Bologna.

Here you can choose to take the A1 via Florence and Tuscany to Umbria or the road via Cesena  and then southwards on the west side of the Apennines.

The last one is shorter and there is lesser traffic.

When arriving in the Perugia area you take the road to Gubbio, N 298, in Piccione you follow the signs to Fratticiola Selvatica. Before reaching the village of Fratticiola Selvatica after, about 4 kilometer, there are 2 signs ‘Azienda casa della nonna & Antico Casal del Bosco at the right side of the road, turn immediately LEFT on to the “white” road and after 50 metres there again is a sign Antico Casal del Bosco, turn sharply left here and after 800 meters you will find our Casal.

By Plane:

You can fly from London Stanstead to Pisa, Ancona or Rome (Ciampino) with Ryanair.

In Pisa you can take the bus from Terravision to Florence main trainstation (75 minutes) and then take the train to Perugia (2,5 hours).
In Rome (Ciampino) you can take the bus from Terravision to Rome main trainstation (Termini,40 minutes) and then also the train to Perugia (2,5 hours).
The tickets for the bus, you can buy on Stanstead- Airport, ( is quicker and cheaper) or on the bus.
In Ancona you can take the train to Perugia. The trip takes just over 3 hours.

On all the airports you can rent a car.
